National, State, and Regional Parks
The United States has 59 protected areas known as national parks that are operated by the National Park Service, an agency of the Department of the Interior. As of 2015, there are 408 official units of the U.S. National Park Service. Our goal is to visit every National Parks site and continue to collect National Park Passport Stamps through the Passport to Your National Parks program run by Eastern National, a non-profit organization when we return to the U.S. and purchase a RV/campervan. The list of cancellation locations to get park stamps can be viewed here.
